Memorial Service for Righteous "Chevy" Hill

Information Courtesy Of: SnapCo (@snap4freedom)

Join us in a heartfelt memorial service to honor the life and legacy of Righteous “Chevy” Hill, a revered 35-year-old Black Transgender man who made Atlanta his home, with his roots in Macon, Georgia. Chevy's life was a beacon of love, light, and community support, tragically cut short in Atlanta, GA.

Chevy was more than just a name; he was a cornerstone of the Black queer community in Atlanta. As the proud owner of Evollusion, a black/queer-owned LGBTQ+ salon, Chevy dedicated his life to creating a welcoming and affirming space. His salon wasn't just about beauty services; it was about building a sanctuary for young Black queer individuals, offering hair, nails, barbering, and makeup services in a safe environment.

Beyond his entrepreneurial spirit, Chevy was a cherished son, brother, partner, and father. His legacy is one of unyielding love, community, and a deep-seated commitment to uplift and support those around him. As we gather to remember Chevy, let's honor him not just for the spaces he created, but for the countless lives he touched and transformed.
