“To decrease anti-trans violence geared toward TGNC folx of color, primarily Black women of trans-experience in the South, The Mahogany Project has created “UPRISING”. ⠀

“UPRISING” aims to assist folx with self-defense items, classes, and resources to maintain their safety. We’re currently distributing 35 self-defense items such as Stun Gun and Pepper Spray and worked with Save Our Sisters United to send 10 women to obtain a handgun license. “
